Girlfriends

Created for my final assessment at the Estonian Academy of Arts, Girlfriends is a three-part studio photo series exploring the non-sexual intimacy of deep friendship. Featuring best friends Maia and Paula, the images capture their years-long bond—built on shared thoughts, secrets, and experiences. Posing with bare upper bodies while subtly concealing their breasts, the series conveys a sense of trust, closeness, and the freedom of intimacy in platonic relationships.
Recognized as the strongest work in the class, my series led to a recommendation as a photographer for the Estonian Academy of Arts art gallery.
