Father – Drawing Series

A three-piece selection from my drawing course, Father explores abstract expressionism, psychosis, and personal struggle. Influenced by street art and raw emotion, these works reflect my journey through severe mental health challenges and a traditional school system that once convinced me I lacked artistic skill. Studying at EKA helped me overcome self-doubt, proving my ability to create impactful, intuitive, and meaningful art.

Out of 14 students, only two were selected by the teacher for archiving—my works and those of a coursemate—chosen for their narrative and artistic strength. Though my sketchbook was lost, these pieces were preserved, ensuring their place as a reference for future students.
