Vabadus – Concept Vinyl Cover

A visual exploration of freedom, Vabadus is a nu-jazz album cover design inspired by the raw energy of alternative culture in Estonia. The title, meaning “freedom” in Estonian, reflects the expressive, boundary-pushing nature of the music.

The artwork combines a striking green and purple palette with a hypnotic, reptilian-like visual, symbolizing the tension between inner dialogue and musical liberation. The typography is an intentional mix-and-match of three distinct typefaces, creating a bold, unconventional aesthetic reminiscent of ENSV-era vinyl designs.

This project merges past and present, drawing from vintage inspirations while embracing a modern, experimental approach to graphic design.
